The purpose of this website is to introduce you to the school and to provide information you may find useful. Our school's Ethos is to create a safe and happy school for our whole community in which excellent behaviour allows teaching and learning to take place in order for all of our children to succeed to their highest standards in terms of social, emotional and academic achievement. We are fully committed to stringent safeguarding and child protection policies and practice.
I am the Chair of Haimo School Governing Body. I became a Local Authority Governor in 2009 and Chair of Governors in 2010. I live in Eltham, and have done since 2001, within walking distance of the school. I am retired. I'm very proud of the work that the Governing Body does and was delighted when we recieved recognition of this via the Governor Mark award.
The Pupil Premium is grant funding direct from the Government and is in addition to the school's Delegated Budget. It is allocated to children who are on Free School Meals (FSM) or who have ever received FSM over the last 6 years, children who have been looked after continuously for more than 6 months, children who are adopted or service children.
At Haimo, we recognise the contribution of PE to the health and well-being of the children. We believe that an innovative, varied PE curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities have a positive influence on the concentration, attitude and academic achievement of all our children.
Our Primary School Sport's Funding will enable us to continue and extend our provision through employing additional sports professionals, entering into more competitive sports competitions and training our staff to deliver in-house quality PE sessions.Schools will have to spend the sport funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but they will have the freedom to choose how they do this.

The Curriculum covers the children's learning in terms of acquiring skills, gaining knowledge and experiences, shaping attitudes, developing and forming behaviour patterns. The school follows the National Curriculum in teaching the children a broad and balanced range of skills and experiences.
At Haimo, our priority is to provide a safe, stimulating environment that meets the needs of each child and develops them as well-rounded, lifelong learners. We place high value on inclusion and work hard to ensure every child has equal access to all aspects of the curriculum.

Below average if not bad. The management is not interested in well-being of the children. Children in nursery and early years have to get dressed outdoors come rain or snow. I wonder if their management staff also leave their coats outside when they come to work. Absolute disgrace for a school in 21st century to treat their children this way. Classrooms are pretty run down and dirty as well.
