Early winter in The Lake District is a truly stunning time to visit; with so much wonderful scenery right on our doorstep why not take advantage of this great value offer?. With many walks right from the front of the hotel on a crisp and clear day, afterwards warm up with a hot chocolate or something a bit stronger by one of our real log fires.
Our restaurant serves breakfast and dinner each day and welcomes residents and non-residents alike. Breakfast is served from 800am to 1100am everyday with dinner being served from 630pm to 900pm daily. We serve a hearty full Cumbrian breakfast with tea, coffee, toast, juices, fresh fruit, yoghurts and cereals for just 11 per person.
The Talbot bar is open daily serving traditional Lakeland comfort food & Jennings ales throughout the day. We are also proud to offer Lakeland Bedrock gin, Standing Stones vodka, Jeffersons rum & whiskies from The Lakes Distillery. The bar opens from 12 noon each day with food served from 1200 noon until 4 pm & 5 pm to 9 pm every day.
