Services
At Hadnall C.E Primary we aim to provide a broad, balanced and inspiring curriculum where children learn and have fun. The curriculum has 'been designed with a particular focus on utilising the local area, as well as enabling pupils to have an understanding of life beyond Hadnall.' Please see the long-term plans for each class below, which provide an overview of what the children cover in each year and subject.
As a school, we know that this is an anxious and unsettling time for us all, particularly our children, who may be struggling to process the changes around us. As lock down is eased, we know that this can induce further anxiety around remaining safe and at this time we feel it is important to support the mental health and well-being of our children.
We are writing this because you are having to miss school and your parents and carers have to keep you at home as part of keeping everyone safe. All of the school grown ups are thinking about you every single day. We will always care and think about you and your families even though we won't be able to see you every day for a while.
Each individual governor is a member of a governing board, which is established in law as a corporate body. Individual governors may not act independently of the rest of the governing board; decisions are the joint responsibility of the governing board. The headteacher is responsible for the internal organisation, management and control of the school and the implementation of the strategic framework established by the governing board.
We hope all the children working at home will be able to join so that the staff can say hello and run through what you will be doing the rest of the day. On a Friday during this time we will have Celebration Worship where we will have Pupils of the Week from home or school, as well as achievements and birthdays.
