Services
We are positive about the advantages of being a small school and seek to build on these. Particularly significant for us is the idea of a family, with older members supporting and caring for younger members. The following aims, though not intended to represent an order of priority, indicate the general philosophy of our school.
We are Nursery and Reception aged children. We offer morning or afternoon sessions for Nursery or both and full time school places for Reception. We have a self contained room with our own toilet area and access to our outside area. We pride ourselves on being the foundation stage for learning in school.
Well I can't quite believe it is September again and we are back in class. It has been so wonderful to see all of the children's faces and welcome some new ones to the class! The children have settled in so well and I have been extremely impressed with how well they have adapted during these strange times.
A warm welcome to class three: an important year for all pupils on their academic journey. Here we will see important milestones as we end our primary school years. It is a period of transition where we encourage a greater ownership of pupils for their own learning. We constantly strive for greater independence which will serve pupils ongoing needs and give them autonomy as they move to secondary school.
We are proud to be Clive Church of England Primary school. We value the opportunity to come together to worship and praise God in a variety of ways. We encourage people to develop their spirituality through different pathways - through creativity, the senses, through being still and calm, and outside within our Woodland school.
