Beckside Pre-School & Nursery is situate on the outskirts of Nettleham in Lincoln. The pre-school has been privately owned by Helen Kendall since 2009 and is Ofsted registered. We have now expanded to a purpose built nursery and early years setting offering care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
The nursery is situated on the A46 in Nettleham, Lincoln and is easily accessible to families living in the surrounding villages or towns and those commuting to Lincoln from further afield. We have been located in the village of Nettleham for many years and have established ourselves an excellent reputation in the area, with many returning families with younger siblings.

Services
The Beckside Babies room is specialised care for our youngest babies and will be led by staff who are qualified to level 3 and have experience working with babies. We have created a cosy room with soft furnishings for the babies to relax and listen to stories and nursery rhymes and smaller babies can have their bottles in this area too.
The Pre-school room will be led by an experienced Qualified Teacher who will be delivering the new Early Years Foundation Stage Framework through carefully planning an enriched learning environment and wealth of provision. This will provide exciting and memorable learning experiences that capture the children's precious natural curiosity.
The Early Years Foundation Stage supports children's learning and development and welfare and is divided into 3 Prime areas of learning and 4 Specific areas of learning. These areas are listed below with some examples of activities in our preschool. The children join their key group at group times to get to know one another such as rolling a ball to each other.
At Beckside Pre-School we strive to create a warm and stimulating environment where learning is fun. We engage in activities that promote and extend children's curiosity and awareness of their world where diversity is celebrated. Children are provided with opportunities to develop their own strengths and interests and to learn and succeed through play and real life experiences, working in partnerships with parents and the community.
Responsible for providing a high child care provision within the Early Year's Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework, Development Matters and other relevant legislation. To provide high quality care and education for all children who attend the setting. To keep all records that fulfil requirements as laid out in the Development Matters and all other administrative duties associated with the childcare provision.
