Our core purpose is to improve the prospects of our pupils by providing a high quality education which meets the needs of each individual child, thus allowing them to reach their full potential. We aim to build the skills, knowledge and positive attitudes necessary to help all of our pupils to become responsible, respectful and tolerant British citizens of the future.

Forest Park Primary School is part of Orchard Community Trust. Orchard Community Trust follows the Local Authority Admissions Policy and therefore this is deemed to be our Admissions Policy.
Forest Park Primary School are committed to providing a secure environment for our pupils, where they feel safe and are kept safe. All staff members at Forest Park Primary School recognise that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, irrespective of the role they are responsible for and whether or not their role has direct or indirect contact with children and young people.
Under the Academies Act 2010, schools may apply to the Secretary of State to convert to academy status. Such schools are known as academy converters. Upon conversion to academy status the existing school closes and a new school opens in its place. Although little may have changed, the academy converter is a new legal entity.
