We are a small one form entry school in the heart of the village of Old Stratford. We work in partnership with two Milton Keynes schools within the trust - New Bradwell School and Jubilee Wood School. We hope this website will give you a taster of the school as well as up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
Our hope is that when visitors come to Old Stratford School they will not need to be told what is happening. It will shout at them from every wall, flat surface and interactive white board. They will be dazzled by the enjoyment and happiness sparkling from each child's eyes. It will be obvious that the school day isn't long enough.

Our community - Our children to be good citizens of Old Stratford, of Northamptonshire, of the United Kingdom, of Europe and the rest of the World, learning to respect all cultures, faiths and beliefs. Our ultimate goal - For every child to have high self esteem and to achieve their best in all aspects of life.
FISH philosophy is a powerful tool that helps you to love what you do. We believe that how we respond to our daily working lives is very often down to us. This idea started in Seattle, USA, when a group of workers decided to make their dreary job at the fish market more exciting. We have taken and developed the idea of FISH philosophy and applied it to our school lives.
Choosing the right school for your child is a significant decision and we're here help parents as they consider the options for their child. Although our admissions criteria prioritise places for pupils who live in Old Stratford, we also welcome some children each year from outside our linked area whose parents have chosen our school.
The law states that all school age children (between 5 & 16) must attend school. Parents are responsible for making sure their child attends school regularly and the Local Authority may take legal action if you fail to do this. This includes children arriving at school on time. 100% - 96% -Excellent attendance which will have a positive impact on your child's education.
In September, School lunches will be a little different to normal. Please see the menu for your child's class. As you will see there will be a pasta option daily and a hot meal choice once a week per class. School Meals are 2.00 per day. A register will be taken at the start of the day asking the children whether they have brought in a packed lunch or whether they will be having a school lunch.
