KHC has been my doctor's for years, always found the doctors and nurses to be great, however, the reception team have always been very rude and I feel like after today, I need to comment on it. Called to rearrange my son's pre-school vaccines as he has a cold and was basically told by the receptionist that she was not canceling the appointment as he did not have a high fever and that I should bring him in anyway for the nurses to make the decision to have them or not. Since when has it been other people's decisions, what is best for my child?! Working in healthcare myself, I do not feel comfortable

Unprofessional receptionist & management - Rude, belittling and unhelpful.
Instead of helping, the receptionist spoke to me like a child after I become confused about the exact name of the medication I required. This was clearly written on my record.
After being spoken down to several times, I left the conversation and was sent a written warning by management which implied this behaviour was "abusive".
I have always been polite and thankful to staff at Kingswood Health Center, even though I have found some staff to be difficult and unwelcoming on occasions.

Not one answering phone for hours not even to let you know place in the queue. Dr's hiding away from patients, so you are then desperate enough to call 111. 111 nurses getting annoyed that GPS forcing patients to go to them. My daughter registered with them a week ago online and no one has registered her, so she doesn't have a local GP! Seem admins who do it only come in on a morning. Wouldn't recommend them, it's worrying that if you are ill, you feel on your own!

Love this doctors but not happy with some of the receptionists, they have been so rude lately. I know your busy but it’s not really our fault. Tried getting through to the doctors the other morning from 8am - couldn’t get through. Finally got hold of someone about 11:50 and was told off for ringing so late! Then spoke to someone about a repeat… prescription and was told they don’t deal with it anymore and I have to put it in writing. But honestly in such a rude tone, makes you feel like a complete idiot. The doctors and nurses however are amazing 🥰

Not keen on a couple of receptionist staff, one of whom was incredibly rude to me. Nurses are very good and generally the doctors are too, although there is one who I dread seeing as every time he's sent me or my children to the hospital and every time it's been unnecessary.
Parking can be a nightmare and trying to get through on the phone is a joke.

I have been with this practice through some of the most difficult times in my life and for them I have nothing but praise. To complain about the small details would just be nit picking. The doctors are amazing even when you don’t get to see the one of your choice, I interface with nursing staff on a regular basis and find them professional helpful… and polite. Years ago the reception staff could be really irritating, but the modern generation are a pleasure to communicate with. So, all in all the practice has my vote of confidence. My only concern is recent change proposed in areas

I've had good experiences with this practice consistently, particularly for my 1 year old son, who they always seem to manage to see at short notice. GP also referred my son to hospital for a random worry I wanted checking for peace of mind, and I'm very grateful for! Convenient location and friendly staff 😊
