The average pay for GPs working in Scawsby Health Centre in the last financial year (2019/20) was 111,880 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 2 full time GPs and 0 part time locum GP who worked in the practice for more than six months.
It should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.

Whilst the staff are all very pleasant, I can’t give this practice any more than one star. Every morning is open surgery where you sit and wait to be seen. You can wait from 8:15 however, the doctor doesn’t get in until 9:30 and the nurse practitioner about 9:15. So to be seen first you will have already waited an hour! I’ve only ever known one doctor be in a time and there’s no doctors in at all on a Friday. When you try to book an afternoon appointment with a doctor, you’re lucky to get one earlier than 2 weeks. It’s all extremely inconvenient.

I've been a satisfied patient at this practice for over 30 years, but during recent visits have had to sit in a crowded, overheated waiting room for up to TWO hours. The doctors are rarely in attendance before 11am, the nurse practitioner sees all patients from 9am till then. I understand that there is difficulty in recruiting younger doctors these days, but the situation at this practce is especially dire.Having said that, I have nothing but praise for the staff here, I've always been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect, just wish one didn't have to wait so long to see a medical professional

One of the worst surgeries I've ever encountered. One of the doctors there is so impersonal it's unreal and the practive manager has such an attitude it's unbelieveable. I've registered a complaint against them with the Care Quality Commission over a few of their practices. I'm sure they will soon be held accountable for this. I really wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last surgery in the UK.

I was a patient here before I went to university and the practice and staff members were very helpful and friendly. Since being at uni I have become a patient at a new doctors during term time, however I have come home for the summer & rang up to see if temporary patients could get vaccinations as I am going to Tanzania in August and my house tenancy in Newcastle has ended so I can't get it there. The lady I spoke to on the phone was a quite blatantly rude to me and patronising, she didn't give me advice as to what to do, even though the vaccination I needed should be free on the NHS. She was also
