If you have not nominated a chemist already, you must do so now by either informing us or your chemist. Please try and order your prescriptions online, email to donccg.hatfield-practice@nhs.net or leave in the locked post box at the front of the building near the entrance. We are very pleased to be able to announce a new service for patients enabling you to book appointments online and to re-order repeat prescriptions.
The service will be available 24/7 and we hope that patients who find it difficult to phone us during working hours will find the new service to be particularly useful. Our practice is part of Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The doctors practise as a non-limited partnership. The practice area covers the postcodes DN7 4, DN7 6 and that part of DN9 1 extending to the eastern boundary of the CCG at Lindholme Grange.

Services
There will be times when the doctors will not be able to hold normal surgeries as they may be required to attend meetings called by the CCG and other agencies to represent the interests of our patients in planning the continuing development of local and regional health care services. There are plenty of parking spaces here at the health centre including disabled parking spaces.
Cathryn is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the practice and is available to answer questions about administration or non-medical aspects of your health or treatment. Our Pharmacist, Simona Babtan can help with medical reviews and also supports with complex medication concerns. Our friendly professional team of administration staff is your first contact with the health centre.
The practice nurses also see patients for review of conditions like: blood pressure, dressing of wounds, ear syringing and oral contraception. Sometimes a doctor may need to review you as appropriate. This is an important test to prevent cancer of the cervix and one which we believe all women should have every three years between the age of 25 years and 49 years.
Between 8.00am - 8.30am, telephone lines are closed except for medical emergencies. If you telephone during these times you will hear a recorded message and you will be transferred to a dedicated emergency line. If your call is not urgent please call again after 8.30am. At other times when the surgery is closed, you will hear a different message.
All consultations are by appointment and are available between 8.30am - 6.00pm on weekdays. In line with government guidelines a proportion of our appointments can only be booked on the day. This reduces waiting times but it does also mean that, particularly for acute or new problems, you may have to see another doctor if the GP you usually see is busy or unavailable.

If you value your health avoid this place at all costs. I see alot complaining at the receptionists but they are only operating as they have been told to with the resorces they are issued. The practices managment team are to blame as the health center is being run shockingly at the cost of peoples health and lives.

Wouldn't even give one star. Very poor in terms of attitude, staff are extremely unhelpful and lack even basic communication skills. Trying to make an appointment is nigh on impossible, and the liaison between Drs and pharmacy is terrible. Everything always seems so difficult, it's like you are interrupting the staff from something far more important.

Its really not up to scratch. Not enough doctors and other medical staff, very long waits for appointments. Nothing seems to run on time (even the very first appointment of the day, I mean how do you managed to screw that up?). Reception staff are also extremely rude and can't be bothered to run the front desk. The building is nice, but its been poorly run for several years now.

The main problem at the practice are the receptionists. Their attitude borders on rudeness and this is simply unacceptable. They are unhelpful and uncaring.
This situation has been highlighted on many previous occasions and its well past the time that something was done about it.
The actions of a few inept arrogant individuals mar this health centre.

The only Doctor worth seeing is Dr Shah. He is amazing with kids and very thorough. Cant speak highly enough of him. However the waiting time for an appointment is ridiculous expect to be in the waiting room for at least an hour for your appointment. There's never enough receptionist on the front desk and cue is a mile long and your likely to get seen at A+E quicker!

Aside from some initial admin teething problems when joining the practice I cannot recommend this surgery enough. They have been superb. The doctors that our family have dealt with have been amazing. The reception staff and admin staff are lovely. Every time we as a family have needed an appointment they have accomdated us in some way or form and are especially helpful when it comes to our child.
Really impressed and can gladly recommend.
