Services
We provide expert veterinary care with top of the range veterinary equipment. We provide all services including health checks, microchipping, vaccinations, neutering, pet passports, and KC Hip Scoring. We believe in preventative health and regular checks to ensure that your pet stays in top condition.
Our ambulance has plenty of space and is a modern reliable van. So if you need a home visit from one of our vets in Taunton arranged or your pet picked up for an operation we can provide that service. Please contact us if you need any information on our fees for this service or are wanting to arrange a collection/dropoff service.
Annual health checks will be in our spacious consult rooms. We will spend time checking your pets health and making sure they pass their annual check before vaccinations. The appointments will be 15 minutes long ensuring that your pet gets a thorough check up at each visit. We have a Happy Pet Health plan which will provide your pet with regular checks, dentals if required and reduced price on drugs in Ani-Medics Veterinary Centre.
We have a lovely air pressure driven dental machine with high speed burs and drills to aid in a smooth dental for your pet. We have a modern scale and polish machine to make sure your pets teeth are sparkling clean. We have invested in special instruments especially for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small furries so that they too can benefit from excellent dental care.
Our inpatient wards are purpose built so that dogs and cats can have their own space. This way the dogs are happy as they are not trying to chase the cats and the pussy cats recover a lot faster as they are not in constant fear of the dogs. The cupboards in all our wards, and in prep, at our Taunton based vet practice have soft closed technology so that no slamming doors can scare your pet when being hospitalised.

I can not rate Animedics highly enough! Their absolute no.1 priority is the care of your pet. They have continued to offer the best care even in these difficult times. Alfie has been having a tough time with cruciate ligament injuries in both back legs . He has been given the best treatment we could ask for . We have some real worries around our insurance cover and the staff at Animedics have been compationate and understanding towards our situation. 5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟 🌟 🌟 isn't enough . Thank you for everything ❤

Always an excellent service. As an owner of 2 cats with medical issues dealing with the staff at ani-medics is always as easy as possible. They are without fail patient, helpful, supportive and friendly. Even better the service they provide in treating our cats is always excellent and they have been able to carry out several operations that have had extremely positive outcomes. They have gone above and beyond in post-operative care. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Absolutely amazing the care they give is outstanding i cannot recommend these enough aftercare and post op information was amazing our dog had major surgery and without the care from ani medics she wouldn't be here today!they cared for her like she was one of their own!i literally would not trust anyone but these guys with her and cannot thank them enough
