Caff Marconi is a family business established in 2008 by husband and wife Sara and Stefano Lancellotti, and father in law Brian Ferguson. The caf/pizzeria was opened ten years after its big brother, Sasso Restaurant had been established. The Lancellottis wanted a welcoming setting that could be open all day providing more informal food: cakes, sandwiches and salads.
A couple of years later when Stefano had perfected his secret recipe for pizza dough, Caff Marconi started serving pizzas. Our lovely Manager has been at Caff Marconi since 2012 and is an inspiration! Kasia looks after all our guests with 100% dedication and is always moving the team forward with new ideas and dishes.

Services
We are passionate about serving great coffee, but everyone's tastes are different - just let us know how you prefer your coffee - strong? We can add extra shots - weak? We can make the coffee with a single or half shot, just ask - we are happy to help. Did you know Illy decaffeinated coffee use the exact same beans and roast as their normal blend but with most of the caffeine removed?
Did you know we have an experienced team for catering for private parties? Our venue can hold up to 80 guests comfortably, and if the weather is good we have our outside terrace to enjoy drinks in the sun! There are various options for catering and drinks and a dedicated Event Manager to help you create the perfect evening.
As with our sister venue Sasso Restaurant, we are very fortunate at Caffe Marconi to enjoy the works of the talented artist Tony Brummell-Smith on our walls. Born in Berkshire in 1949, Tony now lives and works from his studio and home in Harrogate. His ability to capture the particular sense of place and mood of widely contrasting locations has been reflected in consistently successful exhibitions throughout the UK, Germany, Japan, and the USA.

We had a fantastic lunch here - I had the gluten free diavola (very generous on the pepperoni - my type of establishment!!) and my other half had a normal margarita. Both delicious but we were particularly impressed with the quality of the GF pizza which was superb. Staff very friendly too - thank you!

Lovely caffe. Don't let the name full you. They also do food. It's an in between a caffe and a restaurant. Had a lovely pizza which I recommend with mushrooms, mozzarella and goat cheese. Base was nice thickness and not chewy. As it's an in between don't expect fabulous drinks, but we recommend the menabrea on tap.

We were super lucky and managed to get a spot in the morning sun and drink coffee and est pastries. That's really not a difficult life. Almond croissants were flaky, tasty and melted in your mouth.
The pastries were something I have had before and wasn't a bad choice to go in there for a second time. Chilled and relaxed atmosphere

Set on the corner of Princes Square, down some steps is Caffe Marconi, a bright and modern cafe, and restaurant. The wonderful sight and smell of food, both savoury and sweet greets you as you enter, as do the smiles of the enthusiastic staff. Tables of various sizes and shapes, mean that all sizes of party can be catered for; there is also quite a sizeable area of outdoor seating, perfect for the summer. We managed to grab the last one on offer; as we had only just arrived in Harrogate, we really just wanted a snack, but the pizzas going past us on slate boards looked very tempting. We opted for

Rude and underhand owner who enticed us in with 'earlybird' offer. He swapped my daughters water for the glass of wine that I had ordered with my earlybird pizza deal so that he could add £2 extra to the bill. He also charged £2 extra for toppings despite the offer being for any type of pizza, Will never go there again. It would have been cheaper and far more comfortable to have gone to Betty's/Zizzi's/Pizza Express etc Also, we would have been treated with far more respect and courtesy.

This is a really lovely place to eat a relaxing multi-course Italian pizza dinner. Clean and modern, with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Wonderful staff that are quite attentive, but not intrusive.
The pace at which each course was brought out was just right. They have a nice sized menu that gives plenty of options without it taking you a half-hour to look everything over. Though a cafe during the day, Caffè Marconi is a pizzeria at night. There is a decent wine selection, but beer lovers may feel rather limited by the 3 beers available. Only one of which is draft.
