Portchester Sailing Club
In accordance with easing lockdown restrictions the sailing and social program have now re-commenced. The clubhouse and on-water events program will continue to offer members the recreational enjoyment we are able to, whilst strictly adhering to UK Government rules and guidelines. The most important thing at the club is it's members and we will do everything in our powers to keep people safe.

If you need to find out anything more about club activities please email: health@portchestersc.org this will go to various different committee members who will be able to help. Portchester Sailing Club is a growing and thriving family friendly sailing club; perfectly situated right on the sheltered Northern reaches of Portsmouth Harbour.
Services
Portchester Sailing Club is a very good location for cruiser sailors and the club offers a range of deep water and half tide moorings. The waters of Portsmouth Harbour, the Solent and beyond offer a variety of sailing opportunities. Naturally, the most sheltered and closest moorings are more popular and have a waiting list.
This is a group of sailors who get their sailing fix from radio control boats when the main sailing season is over. The section was born and developed around the Dragon Force 65 sailing boat, but is not exclusive and welcomes anyone with an RC yacht to get on the water in the off season or when ever you can.
Members of Committees or sub-groups where specific training is essential to enable them to undertake the tasks required may have their courses paid for by the relevant Section. Please ensure you gain approval from the appropriate Secretary before booking. As the 2019 sailing season approaches shore based training is taking place and is advertised on the website and via googlemail, also look out for leaflets around the Club.
The Angling Section of the Portchester Sailing Club has been a part of the Club's offer since 1969 and has developed into a thriving group of anglers of all ages and abilities. In the process the section has worked with the Angling Trust and Royal Yachting Association and gained Club Mark status with the Angling Trust in 2013.
PSC has a vibrant Social scene with wide and varied events including formal dinners, party and quiz nights. The Bar offers a warm welcome and is ideal for a lunchtime drink and snack, or for unwinding in the evening. While the Bar is lively, especially on race days, it still offers a comfortable relaxing environment in which to enjoy a drink and admire the views across the harbour.

Friendly club with many options for getting on the water. Membership costs less than many people pay for a phone.

Everyone is oh so friendly! The view from the balcony is superb and there aren't too many gusts on the water because it's sheltered by the castle. I highly recommend people to go there on an open day and meet some new people! :)
