Services
Warsash Sailing Club was founded in 1957 as a member run club. It is situated at the mouth of the River Hamble with easy access by water and road. The original clubhouse was built in 1960 over disused lobster pounds and is known as Lobster Quay, hence the clubs distinctive lobster burgee.
The second clubhouse, formerly the Royal Thames Yacht Club was purchased in 1980 and has since been extended and improved with a viewing balcony, large meeting hall, two bars and a fully catered galley. The Lobster Quay clubhouse was rebuilt in 2005 with enhanced changing and teaching facilities. Both sites have spaces for dinghies and tenders and Shore House can accommodate trailered cruisers and sportsboats.

Visitors are very welcome to use the Club bar or catering facilities; please sign our visitors book in Shore House. The main pontoon of Shore House jetty may only be used by yachts belonging to members and to bona fide visitors to the Club who are visiting the Club to use the bar and catering facilities.
Shore House is the main club building with fantastic views over the mouth of the River Hamble. It is a two storey building that houses our administration facilities together with the Main Hall, River Room, two bars one on each floor, and a restaurant. Shore House jetty is opposite the main building.
We are a family friendly member run club who welcome anyone with an interest in sailing. Membership is open to all ages; approximately one third of membership is comprised of young families with three and sometimes four generations from the same family. We have a very active youth section. The club membership is fairly evenly divided between dinghy sailors and yacht sailors, with both racing and cruising interested catered for.
The Club's Executive Committee acknowledges its responsibilities under legislation to safeguard, so far is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of those using the club's facilities, participating in sailing events, and attending activities organised by the Club, both onshore and afloat.
