Four Seasons Yacht Charter & Sailing School
If any charter / training is unable to go ahead due to changes in government restrictions you will be offered to postpone to next year (at this years rates) or a prompt full refund of payments made. We now work with local sailing schools to deliver shore based courses including day Skipper & yacht master theory, Diesel engine, 1st aid etc.

We offer skippered sailing charters (rentals) for less experienced crews our team of professional skippers are available for those who prefer extra local knowledge and sailing expertise onboard for your holiday aboard. We also specialise in sailing single berths & Stag & Hen Weekends onboard our yachts for up to 12+2 people for day sailing.
Services
Four Seasons Yacht Charter began with just one yacht but due to demand, the fleet has expanded and varies each year. As a family run business with a passion for sailing, we aim to provide a personal service tailor-made to meet your needs and maximise your sailing enjoyment. Unlike many other charter companies, we do not charge extra for the use of a spinnaker or for normal use of fuel and gas; hidden extras that we know are unwelcome.
For courses please use 'School booking' form. School courses typically start at around 1830 on start date and run for 5 days with 1400 finish on last day. Quality foul weather gear available at 15 per weekend or 5 day charter (included in corporate charter). We recommend travel insurance when sailing, we recommend Topsail Insurance from 20 for a single trip.
5 day RYA Training courses run all year round on board our Beneteau 37 (which has radar) and Jeanneau 43 yachts. These yachts have modern navigation systems including AIS and have USB charging and comfortable cabins. They also have heating for those chillier days afloat!. If you are unsure which course is for you please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss.
The Competent Crew course is designed for students that have been sailing a few times and now want to learn the basics in a structured manner to then move forward to the Day Skipper Course. By the end of this 5 day course you will have literally 'learned the ropes' and have a good understanding of what it takes to crew a modern yacht.
This course is aimed at those who wish to start skippering on their own or to be able to help experienced skippers. Charter companies usually require Day Skipper as the minimum standard required of potential charterers. You are automatically entitled to an ICC (International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft - see more at RYA website here) to charter abroad if you hold Day Skipper or above.
