We are an independent swimming school based in Mid Sussex that delivers swimming tuition for all ages, from babies of 4 months through to pre-competitive levels and also adults of all ages and abilities. Our focus is on fun and enjoyment and encouraging a love of the water. We are fully qualified to the highest standard and regularly hold training classes for all our teachers to ensure that they are the best they can be.
We are proud to be members of Swim England and STA. Our aim is for your child to be happy and comfortable in the water and we can encourage this by using songs and movement in the water. We teach the importance of water safety to ensure your child has the confidence to last a lifetime. All of our classes are child-led so we do not force submersions, we let the child decide.

My son has been going to swimming lessons here since he was about 4/5 months old. Now nearly 2 he loves his swimming lessons with his Daddy. We worried that with the break from swimming due to covid he would forget or feel scared but he took it like a duck to water! Good lessons, fun and covid safe.

Brilliant and fun swim school! Both my boys' (aged 4 &7) have grown in confidence and ability since starting lessons with ADV and love going. Teachers are highly qualified, with years of experience, lessons are jam-packed, pools are nice and warm and it's fantastic that you get all of this at pretty much half the price of some of the other swim schools in the area!

My two children (age 11 & 6) have learned to swim with Diane and her swim school over the past 5+ years. The tuition they have received has been always individually considered and tailored to their abilities. My son had a great fear of water from a baby and Diane and her team worked patiently with him and he now loves the water, he has made so much… progress in the past few years. My daughter is now a strong and confident swimmer thanks to the weekly lessons she attended. Diane's school has always provided professional with caring teaching. The attention given to the children is brilliant
