Jellyfish Swim School has been operating since 2004 and has developed a system of teaching swimming which has consistently achieved great results for children all over Sussex and Surrey. Our swimming lessons are held at a purpose built 17 meter in ground pool that has shallow and deep ends. This makes our swimming pool perfect for all swimmer abilities.
It is especially important that beginners are able to touch the bottom, stand and walk in the water which creates a feeling of safety and confidence. We swim at Copthorne Prep School, and we cover the following areas. Our swimming lessons include parent and child classes for babies from 12 months to toddlers, pre school swimming lessons and beginner level and beyond.

Services
The National Plan For Teaching Swimming (NPTS) is an 'all-inclusive programme' which takes the non-swimmer from his or her first splash to developing confidence and competence in the water. The National Governing Body for Swimming, Swim England, has produced a national syllabus for Aquatics, in order to equip learn to swim providers with the training and tools to deliver a multi aquatic, multi skill programme.
Our unique aquatic programme gives infants a diverse experience of sensory exploration and developmental opportunities. Our ethos is based on creating an environment that gently guides you and your little one, enriching their water confidence and helping every child flourish.
With the use of specialised equipment we have created a class that is different than the mainstream parent and child class using a mix of activities such as music, singing, play and movement creating a multi-sensory environment.Our ethos of providing lessons for infants and toddlers is based around instilling a love of water, this is the foundation of learning to swim.

The Jellyfish Spectrum is a swimming program specifically designed to create the ideal environment that children with additional needs require to maximise their potential and allow them the numerous benefits that swimming can provide. We offer 1-2-1 private lessons in a peaceful, warm private swimming pool set in the Surrey countryside.

Our twin 6yr olds are having swimming lessons here. First off with Jake. He was a really great teacher. Very encouraging for our two newbies and really helped them settle in. Now currently with Genevieve. She is amazing with our children. Very attentive and they are improving week on week.

My 8 year old daughter has been swimming at Jellyfish since she was 5. We had previously tried several swim schools and even 121 tuition and she got upset at every lesson.
The team at Jellyfish made her feel confident enough to enjoy learning to swim and she has come on in leaps and bounds. She has swum at both the pool at Copthorne Prep School and Burstow. I love the fact that both pools have a shallow end for the beginners and that they can work their way to swimming up to the deep end as their skills develop.
