Hook Swim School has been training swimmers since 1999 and we've been trusted to teach generations to swim. Our family-owned and operated swim school provides the lifelong skills we teach. Our professionally qualified swim instructors are here to instil comfort and confidence in the water. They are highly trained and selected for their technical knowledge, coaching skills and ability to teach an enjoyable and safe aquatic experience.

Services
All our current customers have a priority booking privilege to continue next terms lessons on the same day and time. Due to large numbers of customers, swimming lessons with us are only guaranteed, if payments received. For any questions regarding the pool, class reservations, or pool hire - please get in touch via the form adjacent, and our staff will happily return your message asap.
Our baby and toddler swimming classes have been designed around your child's age so that the activities are reflective of your child's developmental stage, both physically and cognitively. To teach children vital water safety skills such as; listening to instructions from parents when around water, as well as how to enter and exit the pool safely.
Towards the end of each term the Instructors assess all their swimmers, matching their ability to a certificate with badges. Parents are then given the opportunity to purchase a certificate and a sew on that badge for their child to celebrate their effort. On the last lesson of each term, the classes join together to have a pool party with music and we have an awards ceremony where each swimmer is called up to receive their certificate and badge.
Our public swim sessions are an hour long and allow you to take things at your own pace whether you choose to swim lengths or if you would like to take it slower and just enjoy having some time in the water to relax and stretch! Aquanatal classes are fun, safe, pregnancy and postnatal exercise classes run by a qualified Aqua natal Instructor.
Our Do's and Don'ts; for all things related to a happy, healthy visit to Hook Swim School. Ensure toddlers who are not toilet trained wear tight fitting swim nappies and a tight fitting swimsuit over the swim nappy. No talking to the swimming instructors before, during, or after the swimming lesson, any questions or concerns must be communicated by emailing the office at info@hookswimschool.co.uk.

Our son started his swimming lessons as an anxious little boy and over the course of a couple of terms, and disrupted at that due to Covid, we have seen an absolute transformation in his confidence and ability in the water. Alison has been amazing at building his confidence and the development of swimming skills. Now he always looks forward to swimming and loves being in the water. Hook Swim School have been brilliant, friendly staff and always a willingness to be accommodating where necessary. Thank you for giving our son the best start to water confidence we could have hoped for!

My son has been attending swim lessons for nearly 3 years now at hook swim school and continues to love it. The teachers are lovely and as such my sons confidence and ability has developed hugely. Because of this my daughter and I now do baby swim lessons which is not only great for her but a good workout for me too.
