Park Day Nursery is situated in a large Victorian house close to central Reading and Earley. The nursery stretches across four storey's enabling us to have a dedicated pre-school classroom, Badgers, dedicated sleep room (for our under 2's), Dormice, and art and physical development rooms Hedgehogs and Foxes for our children to play, explore and express themselves in.
Each age group also has its own room, Acorns, Squirrels and Badgers containing resources, toys, books and games designed to stimulate the children's imaginations and interests. The flexible space we have available to us means we can accommodate children in both small and large groups whilst maintaining a small and intimate feel that is often remarked upon as being like 'a home from home'.

Services
Park Day has been a nursery and a family home since 1989. During this period the nursery has enjoyed continuous success and recognition within the East Reading community and beyond.
We live in Winkfield with our two sons Archie 15 years old and Oscar 12. Living locally has meant we can utilise all of the available rooms within this lovely Victorian building to provide ample space for the children in our care to allow their imagination and experiences to guide their learning journey.

My daughter went to Park Day nursery until we recently moved away from the area and she was extremely happy there, she came on leaps and bounds. It's not just child care, they're really set up to develop the children through activities they enjoy. As someone with a background in education, it was no surprise that they're graded as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. Very appreciative of the role they played in helping my daughter grow.

I would highly recommend Parkday nursery, Jackie and her team are wonderful. Both of my children attended the nursery from 1 year old till school and I have been delighted with the nursery for the whole time. There is a high level of care and engagement for all children and tons of different and fun activities. There is also a children's committee and the Nursery regularly ask for feedback from children as well as the parents.
Can't recommend enough!

Undergoing a traineeship at this nursery has been the best time i'v had in a long while. I work in the badgers room with the older children, everyday there are activities like painting and drawing and sensory activities along side outdoor play, singing, story time and meal times.
The staff look after the children like their own and its just such a beautiful thing to see.
