Club racing at Draycote is a mixture of fleet and handicap racing every Sunday, and Wednesday evenings in the Summer. A different and varied course is used each week with a sailing round the cans format using our 18 permanent race marks plus movable marks can be used. We are proud to have such a healthy turnout to weekly club racing that we are able to have fleet starts.

I booked a paddle boarding lesson for my two sons, one of which has left-sided weakness from a stroke 18months ago, the instructor was brilliant with him and they helped him to stand on the board which was amazing to see! He then gained confidence throughout the hour and was able to stand by himself - he fell in a few times but that helped spur his determination even more! Thank you instructors and Draycote Water Sailing Club…I’ve got a feeling this may be his new hobby !

A decent sized lake to sail on. The changing rooms are a decent size too!
The wind is always pretty good but a bit shifty closer to the shore. The staff at the cafe downstairs aren't the friendliest but the choice of food/drinks is quite standard so you'll be able to get most things.

A very pleasant place. Lovely walk around the reservoir. A tarmac laid wide path mainly flat with a few undulating patches over the far side from the main cafe complex. If you choose to do the full circuit it's 5 mile in length. It's very popular with walkers & joggers and sits also shared with cyclists. Very busy at weekends but if it tranquility you want then go on a weekday. There are some smaller walks tagged off the main circuit. There is even a chance to spot some alpacas about 2 miles into the walk if you go anti clockwise from the visitor centre.
