If your thinking of registering at this practice, dont bother. I live very close to this practice but struggle to get an appointment. There are 2 types of appointment available here, if its an emergency you need to spend at least 30 mins constantly calling on the phone. if you are lucky enough to have a conversation with an abrubt & rude receptionist, she might let you have one. The other option is a routing appointment and you will have to wait at least a month. The front desk staff must also be doctors or nurses here because they diagnose your problem over the phone and sometimes say "its not

The worst most incompetent surgery.
They have taken me off their books as I moved out of area and left me with no GP as the one I'm moving to has a waiting list, I am 7 months pregnant, I'm on mental health medication which I have now got to go cold turkey which can cause severe withdrawals for myself and my baby, as they didn't write my prescription before taking me off their books. I have made a formal complaint to the commissioners so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Ann the nurse is exceptional, one of the kindest and sincere ladies I've ever met. She goes above and beyond her call of duty and seems to genuinely care.
A real asset the to surgery.
I would of give 5 stars if the receptionist (1 in particular) was a little more empathetic. Not the first bad experience of dealing with her.

My experience with this practice over 40 years has been exemplary. When you have serious problems they always deliver and yes people who need medication know the rules and should take responsibility for not running out of essential medication.
Compared to the problems in other areas and the NHS in general I think this is an excellent practice and our family Doctor is to be commended. The reception staff at times can be a little difficult to deal with, but lets face it they have to deal with people with a wide range of needs and many clients who just want to circumvent the system and get verbally
