We are situated in a quiet residentail area near Dumfries Railway station, five minutes walk from Dumfries town centre. We are pet friendly. We offer free Wi Fi. Featuring all the comforts expected by todays guests, the Aberdour Licensed Guesthouse bedrooms provide a peaceful retreat for both the business and holiday traveller. Most rooms are ensuite and all have colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board. We can also provide hairdryers and other facilities on request.

Stayed here for work reasons for 3 nights over a week. Its I a good location near dumfries train station and has some parking at the front of the building. The rooms are clean but inwas unfortunate to be staying over during a function and also had noisy neighbours one night. The first night I was in room 3 which had a single bed and a small sink in the corner, TV, desk and chair, a kettle with plenty coffee/tea, and an ironing board.
The bathroom linked to this is along the hall. It is locked for that room's key but you need to pass by other doors to use it.

My first visit to this establishment,It's a basic hotel,free wifi and breakfast included which was good and is cooked by the proprietor who is a nice friendly woman.The hotel is nice and clean,room was a bit tight with sharing,small bathroom as well but the bed was comfy enough.There is car parking available outside the front door but limited spaces It's close to the centre of town,supermarkets,bars and restaurants and train station round the corner.I had a good stay here for a few days while working in the area
