A fantastic experience at the Rock Inn! An amazing specials board at lunch time - we had a delicious katsu curry and gorgeous chicken and leek pie. Food was excellent, as was the friendly and helpful service we received. We hadn't booked but staff were happy to accomodate us and even gave us a great table by the window with a beautiful view of the sea. Really impressed with our lunch at the Rock Inn, and will definitely be visiting again.

We managed to get a table here for dinner on a Saturday night and we were very pleased that we did! Even though Covid restrictions have eased, the pub and its staff were still being very professional in their implementation of common sense safety protocols. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. The food was also impressive. We’d eaten at Rick Stein’s The Cornish Arms the night before and had left quite disappointed; that did not happen here. The sauteed garlic mushrooms on sourdough toast were brilliant as a starter and the seafood linguine was also very good and just the right size

Avoid if you don’t like discrimination because you don’t wear a face nappy. Businesses like this will never get my custom, and I hope others agree. My money (over £100) went to the more welcoming bar next door {The TapRoom}. Money talks. The Rock inn & their pathetic ‘for your protection’ policy will put people off.
{edit in response to their reply. Our interaction with staff was not rude, just brisk and we walked away, so I’m being confused with another obviously annoyed customer, and if you keep closing because of covid, then your mask policy clearly doesn’t work, does it!}

We stopped here for a coffee and hot chocolate. Our order was taken quickly, however, we then waited 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The coffee was luke warm and my chocolate had obviously been stood for a while and melted all down the outside of the cup which looked very messy. Unfortunately we didn't have time to complain as we had a table booked elsewhere for lunch. Whilst the views are lovely the service certainly was not.

We chose this place for lunch and arrived at 11:30. We're really glad we did too as the place got packed.
The food is quite pricy but well worth the price tag. I had the curry of the day and it was amazing and my party all had good things to say about their food too.
I'd definately go back, tho at those prices, it'd be going back as a treat rather than a daily occurance on my budget. 5 out of 5.

Had a lovely meal here just after it had re-opened after the Coronavirus lockdown. The wife had a vegetarian Thai curry, which she said was really good. I had the Chicken pie - a puff pastry top with a good amount of large chunks of chicken in a great sauce - I think it was chicken and leek. The vegetables that were served with it were really well cooked and fresh. The chips were really good too. The other guys had scampi and chicken burgers - all of which looked really nice. I had a pint of Cornish pale ale which was very refreshing. Staff wore masks and screens had been fitted between tables
