Services
Pondguy Aquatic and Reptile Services have bases in Bracknell covering the Berkshire area. We work local to this area to keep our expenses down and be able to offer low prices to our customers. However if you have a larger job outside of these areas, please do not hesitate to contact us and arrangements can be made.
Water changes, the amount depends on type of fish, intervals of cleaning and size of tank. Filter cleaning, If filter systems become blocked many stop functioning altogether or just pump dirty water around the tank with out any purification. Glass cleaning, this is purely aesthetic as the fish prefer the algae cover but why have a tank you cant see into.
A;It sounds like you have a build up of sludge in the bottom of the pond that was there when you inherited the pond with your new house. When your doing your vacuming your only vacuming up a fraction of the debris and stirring the rest up to cloud the water, the fish will keep the sludge suspended in the water with their constant grubbing on the bottom in search for food.

I ordered supplies and they arrived quickly. One product was out of stock on line so I sent an email asking when it would be back in stock. They were prompt to reply and let me know they were redoing the website but they did have the product I wanted in stock. I appreciate quick email response and help. I have a small waterfall and I am looking forward to having it look clean and happy again.

I'm not sure how large the company is, but they definitely have that small company feel from a customer service perspective. They have been a fantastic resource for me as I learn how to take care of a small koi pond that I inherited with the house I bought. If you have questions about your pond, give them a call! They are a wealth of information (and you aren't expected to purchase anything from them, just because you called their help line). I will also add their defensePAC program has done wonders to keep my pond from getting mucky or full of algae.

I have placed several different orders with this company since my water feature was completed in July. They have always been filled quickly and the products arrived in good condition. I recently ordered a 30' x 30' protective pond netting that showed as out of stock until late December but I ordered it anyway. Last week I received an email to let me know it was back in stock and offered me the option to have the order completed or to cancel it. What other company provides this level of service??!! I responded that I still wished to have the order processed and received it just a few days later

Customer service was great! I had a question about an item. I called them and they were excellent. The product I wanted was not available so they pointed out another item that was perfect! Then they sent it with premium faster shipping at no extra charge. I will definitely buy from them in the future.

A well run company. customer service helped educate us about products and gave us the confidence to design and build our organic swimming pond. with their recommended products we built a pond that has far exceeded our expectations. when we have issues their customer service has helped with more education and more products that fit our needs. we are so impressed. and so very thankful. keep up the good work!!!!!

I bought a medium sized grey rock to use as a piece of "hardscaping" in my garden. I love it. It fits nicely near one end of my perennial bed (6x20 foot) and after a little mulch around the bottom edge to hide gaps between rock and dirt (a dead giveaway :-), it looks very real. Even the garden designer I hired to help me with plant placement thought that it was a real rock until I told her. If I can think of a place for another rock, I'll definitely get one from the Pond Guy!

I am a relatively new pond owner and the website articles have been very helpful in maintaining a beautiful pond. I've called their experts for advise as well and they've been more than helpful. But the thing that keeps me purchasing from them is their service. It is second to none. Everything I've purchased from them has been top quality at a fair price. The exception is an LED light that I've have to replace multiple times (due to faulty seal). They've replaced it quickly and without hassle. I will continue to purchase from them for my pond needs. They are the best!

I've been on the email list for some time and regularly get the articles to read, which have been extremely helpful during my first year with my new water feature. I reached out with a question the other day and the response from a PondTech [Jenny] was not only timely (less than 24 hours) but was actually a direct answer/response to my question.
