In 2017, the Lake District was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and we want to celebrate the place we are in. We are uniquely located on the doorstep to the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales, making us the perfect place to explore both. We are a second generation family business, which started in 1972 when the M6 was built through the Dunning family's hill farm in Cumbria and Tebay Services was born.

These people need to open way more of these Motorway hotels.
The building is beautiful.. not just a big box. The quality of the place puts a lot of hotels to shame considering it's on a motorway services.
Room was very nice indeed. The bar very pleasant with a nice selection of drinks to choose from. Lovely breakfast too using local quality ingredients.
Will definitely use again. Top class.

This is a charming hotel situated in stunning countryside on the north carriageway of the M6 although it is accessible from BOTH carriageways via a road bridge joining both sides. The hotel is traditional and offers very comfortable rooms and quality food for both dinner and breakfast. The joy of staying here is actually the Services which regularly win awards for their uniquely independent feel. The onsite shops offer a range of fresh farm produce. Whether en-route to a holiday cottage or simply on your way home, make sure you take your cool bag!
