From the age of 3 all children are eligible to receive free childcare funding, we also offer free childcare funding for eligible 2 year olds. My Nursery understands the importance of healthy eating. It is important that your child receives all the nutrients they need to grow and develop. Sometimes it can seem difficult to get your child to eat a wide range of foods, but it is very important to try and offer them as much variety as possible.
If your child is in receipt of Early Years Entitlement Funding, they will be booked off during the funding holidays. If you require childcare during the funding holidays, you are welcome to book your child in for extra sessions. If you have any questions or would like further explanation regarding the below term dates, then please do not hesitate to contact the My Nursery Management team.
We have a strong team of qualified staff ranging from apprentices up to staff who have BA hons in Childhood studies. All unsupervised staff in our setting have a clear disclosure and barring service (DBS) check. Any staff who are awaiting their DBS are not left unsupervised. The majority of our staff have a relevant paediatric first aid certificate which is updated every 3 years.
Each child who attends My Nursery has a Key Person. This is an Early Years Practitioner within the childs room who's role is to ensure every child's learning and care is tailored to their individual needs. They will support the child and their parents with the settling in process, and with the childs developmental progress.
