If you are wondering where to eat out in Waddesdon, let's tempt you through our door. From a hearty breakfast to a delicious evening meal, our village pub is the place to come for freshly prepared food. Head Chef Matt has trained on 5 star Carnival Cruise ships and worked on Queen Mary II and he applies his knowledge and skills to provide perfectly cooked British food.

Couldn’t highly recommend The Lion and the staff any more. My father has stayed here now twice whilst coming to the village to see me.
The rooms are beautifully done and the food is superb!!
If you are planning to come down and see the Waddesdon Manor then make your visit even better by eating here and stay in one of the rooms as you won’t regret it.

We've just had an amazing meal cooked by The Lion chef,
Scampi, just the right amount , lovely, tasty fat chips. Arrived hot, well presented even though it's in a take away box.
Beef burger meal, again well presented, cooked well, plenty of big fat tasty chips.
Three meals for £30.00 an absolute bargain, and we kept it local. Thanks for all involved.
