Services
Our welcoming, friendly, and dedicated team always leave a lasting impression on our guests. Our company culture has been built around community, and this is demonstrated in the relationships we have built with locals and with people we meet for the first time.

We are approachable and we accommodate our customers wherever possible, and we have a mutual respect for our colleagues which forms the core strength of our team - all of which is visible through the excellent service we provide. We know that our team are the face of The Unicorn, and it is them that play a huge part in impressing upon our customers.
The Unicorn is a 17th century Grade ll listed village freehouse, full of heritage, history, and lots of character. Boasting a red brick faade, tiled roof, and flanking brick chimneys, our beautiful pub is just as pleasing on the eye outside, as it is inside. In World War 2, the pub and Cublington village were popular destinations for personnel serving at nearby RAF Wing and the military hospital, built on the eastern edge of Cublington.
Both The Unicorn in Cublington and The Old Swan in Cheddington sit under the independently owned The Sandridge Pub Company. Under the watchful eye of experienced pub owner Nell Saint and General Manager Paul Darvell, our pubs are renowned for genuinely great pub food with excellent levels of service.
Driven by our community outlook, we also support and promote locally sourced produce. We are incredibly fortunate that we have such an amazing supply chain for our pubs, and this includes a variety of top-quality local breweries. Below are just some of the fantastic businesses we work with in order to deliver such great service to our customers.
The heartbeat of The Unicorn is our people values and ambition to bring communities together. With our locals we aim to deliver a consistent friendly service, and if you haven't visited us before, it is our aim to create memorable experiences so that you return - and that you tell people about us.

Pleasant enough place but appetite-sapping cold. Will return again in the summer.

Good food and great service from a very friendly and helpful team. Lovely beer garden at the back, with shade under trees or sunny places to sit.

Booked dinner for two and had a great time. Attentive service, lovely food, good wine menu and generally a very nice, cosy pub! Had the seared pigeon breat to start, slow cooked beef rib for the main and white chocolate and raspberry bread and butter pudding to finish. Delicious, and will be back!

Really nice pub with dog friendly garden.
This was our first visit (Sat 24th July) but will definitely come back.
Friendly staff, good menu choice ( although we did not order food), reasonable drinks selection & clean toilets.
We were supposed to have come for the Sunday brunch with live music but due to the bad weather, the band was cancelled & so have we cancelled our outdoor table.
There is also a play area for kids in the garden & enough parking space at the front.
A really nice village pub!

Outstanding food. Never been here before but will definitely come again.
Come here for the second time today for lunch. We had squid for starters followed by butter chicken burger and chicken ceasar salad.
Absolutely outstanding food 👌
Booked to come for dinner next week.
Cannot fault anything from pub, garden, soft music in the background and of course the staff.
Thank you Paul, Libby and Emely

Popped in here today for a spot of lunch with my fiance, must say exceptional food, excellent service from staff ( libby), and a really friendly warm welcome from management, will definitely return to this little gold mine.
Come here today for our second trip in a week, again amazing food, great service by libby, Paul and Emily, got to say this is one of the nicest pubs that we have eaten at.
So nice we have booked another date for an evening meal.

I've just had Christmas lunch at £75 per head... The salmon starter was seriously good, but the rest of the meal was disappointing if I'm honest. We were supposed to have mince pies and coffee to finish off the meal, but these never materialised. They also tried to charge full price for my two children, until I spotted the error. They then tried to charge an extra £55 for "service charge"... Overall, I was very disappointed with the service, having to keep reminding the staff about drinks that we'd ordered, even though they weren't exactly rush off their feet... The pub it's self looks quite
