It's all go at The Queen's Head as we adapt to the new rules. We're delighted to allow you back inside as well as in our beautiful garden, albeit with a few restrictions to ensure your safety and that of our staff. Denise and Simon are delighted to welcome you to the Queen's Head - a village local that still hangs on to the old-fashioned ideas of a friendly smile and attentive service.
When it comes to food and drink however, we're somewhat more eclectic, taking our inspiration and flavours from around the world, as well as just around the corner. We all like different things (thank goodness), so our menu has flavours from the Orient, Europe, and the good old UK. Gluten-free? Ours is probably the best selection in the area!

Services
Things seem to be changing all the time at the moment, so it's hard for any of us to keep up, isn't it! Lots of places serve food and drink, but for us it's about more than just provision - it's a passion. Whenever we travel, whether here in the UK, or abroad, our priority is discovering fascinating flavours to bring back to the Queen's Head.

Popped in for their Thursday bacon sandwich and hot drink or pastry and hot drink. We had the sandwich and cappuccino. The bread was beautifully fresh which went really well with the crispy bacon and the cappuccino was delicious. We bought pastries and fresh vegetables from the Thursday pop up market to take home.

Don't believe these glowing reviews. Whilst the staff are wonderful, some parts of the pub are comfortable, unfortunately we were parked in a drab dark corner with terrible music. The Sunday lunch was bland, watery gravy and wafer thin cuts of tasteless lamb plus rock hard roast potatoes. The 2 stars are for the staff. Felt badly short changed for the nearly £50 spent for a meal for two.
