Services
A bereavement is a traumatic time for those responsible for making funeral arrangements, so we have provided a short guide to the procedure following a death. The doctor of the deceased should normally be contacted, but out of office hours the call may be redirected to an on call doctor. The doctor will advise if the deceased can be removed to the funeral directors premises.
Every Funeral we provide a service for is different and personal to each individual family whether it be a simple cremation or a grand burial. To this end we provide an individually tailored service to the family needs to include everything from newspaper announcements to floral tributes.

I am so pleased that Bedwardine Funeral Services were recommended to me when my mother died. Russell and his colleagues were amazing through the whole process: kind, supportive, and genuinely caring. Russell's advice was timely and thoughtful - he was able to guide me before I even knew that I needed a question answering. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Bedwardine were absolutely fantastic in arranging our mum/mum-in-law's funeral. Russell in particular went out of his way to ensure that everything went smoothly. He was always available to answer any questions and make suggestions. He was exceptionally kind and always respectful. The funeral was just as mum would have wanted. Thank you Russell and Bedwardine.

I used Bewardine Funeral Services for my father's funeral, Dave and the team were excellent and nothing was to much trouble. As I have previously worked in the funeral profession myself for several years, the Bewardine Funeral Services offer a very high standard of service, all of the bearers were immaculately dressed and so was the funeral director, there were no little hidden extras added on either.
An absolute top job, you did my dad proud, and I would recommend and always use the Bewardine Funeral Services in future.

When my dad passed away 15th Jan 2021 my sister and I had no clue what to do. What with grief and of course no knowledge of what we were doing my sister visited two funeral directors. One seemed not to care and wasn't at all interested in even asking anything about dad, but Bedwardine were so different, so caring and made us feel so at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. From start to finish they were amazing. My sister and I wanted to carry dad and they were so considerate of our wishes. On such a sad occasion they made everything so easy for us especially as it is during this covid crisis. I

Professional and respectful funeral service, thank you for taking care of my dad xx I know he was in great hands.
I could not get home from over seas to say goodbye to my dad, and Russell was unbelievably helpful getting back to me immediately with any questions and concerns I had, he also found the time to send me pictures of the beautiful flowers that had been sent to my dad on the day.

Cannot recommend Bedwardine Funeral Directors highly enough. They go above and beyond to make all the arrangements as easy as possible at such a heart-breaking time. The professionalism, courtesy and respect is outstanding. Never having gone through this before, I was totally lead by Russell, who, with his friendly, caring, down to earth, approach, guided me throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to them everything went as beautifully as possible. I am eternally grateful.
