Services
The Pupils, Staff and Governors at Florencecourt Primary School and Little Bridges Community Nursery seek to be a learning community who encourage one another to be all that they can be. To be individually and collectively a positive people who together radiate a caring, supportive and effective model of education in the communities which the school and nursery serve.
As a community, we are very proud of our school. RESOURCES: Our modern building has five classrooms resourced with Interactive White Boards, A/V equipment, a networked computer system and a range of curriculum and play equipment. The classrooms are linked to a central resource area containing a library and ICT suite.
It is important that each child comes to school neat and tidy. We are proud of our school uniform which reflects the individuality of our school and offers to all children a common form of dress. School uniform must be worn each day unless special clothing is required eg., for field trips. Blue sweatshirts, polo shirts, grey shorts, PE shorts and outdoor school coats are available for purchase at Select Kidz, Shore Road, Enniskillen.
At present there are five class units in our school, each grouped according to the ages of the children. Classes are organized on the basis of age - each child spends one year in each class from P1-P7. The numbers in each class may vary and the grouping of the classes will change from year to year.
Good attendance is essential to ensure pupils reach their full educational potential. The Education Authority for NI and schools across the province are very aware that falling attendance affects how much a child learns. All children should attend school for the 190 days, which the law requires, unless they are ill.
