Fabulous Sunday lunch and desserts all home made. Super service and love their idea of whatever the main meal costs on a Sunday dessert is included (no starters on a Sunday so makes everything run efficiently), in the week starter or dessert included in main meal price. One of our favourite places for food.....

Had a excellent evening here. Staff very friendly and helpful they even laughed at my jokes. The food is top notch well presented and hot. Equally as important is the beer, they have a good selection and it is well kept, when they recommend a pint they know what they are talking about.

This is our third time here and still as good as the 1st. Family run, great staff and a friendly dog inside the pub. Sunday roast portions are tasty and plentiful, included all the trimmings, veg, potatoes etc. The Sunday lunch price also included great choices of desserts, minimum 7 options, not counting cheese. The fruit crumble was great, strawberry pavlova was stunning, coconut and lime cheesecake was ever so light. Will be back for a 4th visit next time in the area. But remember to book table early.

Went there for a birthday meal, I can't fault the food it was absolutely beautiful, booked in advance as I wanted the salmon and they kindly made sure there was some for me, cooked to perfection. The staff were faultless, only down side is charlie the dog wasn't there🐶🐶 . I can highly recommend a visit to this lovely kent pub

On my first visit the pub manager was there, we chatted affably and I was keen to return. Yet, when we did the barman said we were not allowed to sit "anywhere near the bar" as I had before and others were now. The unused six or seven bar stools in the far corner were "all reserved" in case of "customers coming in later on". And because the other tables were for pre-booked meals this meant our options were effectively to go outside in a half-empty pub with countless free stools. The chap said he'd let us in from the garden 'if a spot became free'. It was, tbf, during the England football, so conceivably

Amazing food, amazing hosts, amazing atmosphere! I came here with the family as we had two birthdays and we were welcomed by the lovely hosts, who even made the effort to decorate the table to make the birthdays more special. The food is fantastic and very well priced (so much so that I had a three course meal! And I couldn't fault a single course). Charlie the dog was lovely and also a fantastic little host. I can not thank everyone at the Haywain enough, for making this evening so special for us! See you all very soon

A gorgeous little pub with managed by a friendly polite couple. We went for a family birthday meal. The menu choice was great and the food was excellent standard and for one in a gastro pub, reasonably priced. Loads of dessert choice too with some seriously delicious choices. Charlie the dog also stole our hearts! Thanks again :-)
