Services
Pregnancy Crisis Care was founded in 2008 as a professional and confidential service available to anyone experiencing unintended pregnancy, pregnancy loss or difficulties following an abortion*. We are passionately committed to helping women and couples through pregnancy crises; offering free, confidential, impartial support and counselling.
Pregnancy Crisis care offers free, confidential pregnancy testing*. If you have missed a period by three days or more, please bring an early morning urine sample in a small sterile container. Results will be given at your appointment. If your pregnancy test* result is positive, we offer unbiased information and impartial pregnancy choices counselling*, aiming to give you time and space to work through your feelings.
If you think you might be pregnant and don't know what to do next you may benefit from our impartial, confidential pregnancy choices counselling.* This is available for all who face an unintended pregnancy*. Talking through your thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential space can be helpful. This can be done once or over a number of sessions as you explore your options and process your emotions.
If you find that you are struggling emotionally after an abortion, whether recent or many years ago, you can come and talk to one of our practitioners. We offer a sensitive post-abortion recovery programme enabling you to work through your feelings at your own pace. If you'd like to make an appointment, please call us on 01752 246788 to discuss the support we offer.
If you have experienced any form of baby loss you may find it helpful to talk to someone. Baby loss includes the death of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, newborn death or termination for medical purposes. We can help you work through your grief, offering a sensitive recovery programme to support you (and your partner) for as long as is needed.
