Exercise addiction is an unhealthy obsession with physical fitness and is classified as a compulsive behavioural disorder. People who are addicted to food will continue to over eat despite the negative consequences this can bring.
Our in-patient service provides residential care with 24/7 nurses on hand to support your receover. Some patients require a more intense or structured approach to their treatment or need to be away from the everyday situations that are contributing to their condition. Other patients require a treatment which can only be delivered in an in-patient setting.
Some patients require a more intensive approach to treatment than coming to the Clinic as an out-patient. Equally, some patients can benefit from more structured support when they are discharged from in-patient care. In both these cases, our Day Care service can help. Our Day Care service operates three days per week between 9am and 5pm.

Came worried sick to find help for my daughter with social anxiety but left with unpleasant aftertaste. Instead of focusing on how to help my daughter , I was judged from the moment we came in. Little remarks/ blame were directed towards me . If I’m not handling this difficult situation correctly then I would like to be given advice and support and actually be spoken to my face rather than behind my back. Very unprofessional. Neither my daughter nor my husband will want to go back there either.

I was a patient here end of last year for 4 weeks. in my personal opinion , some of the staff such as megan, jane, danny, maddy, veronica, vassoo and paula are m so so lovely. however staff such as george, maria, sara etc are not. very very insensitive, i’m not sure why they would work in a hospital with vulnerable patients. staff in general don’t seem to care and give generic advice.

Very efficient customer service and the receptionist was lovely. Dr Niraj Arora was absolutely brilliant, I felt completely at ease and very comfortable talking with him. He was extremely knowledgeable, understanding and professional. I highly recommend him, he is an absolute gem to the industry. Thank you for you help, Dr Arora.

I have to believe that the care given is good BUT.....the building is gloomy, dreary & dark which looks as if it hasn't been decorated or refurnished in many years. Considering the state of mind of many of those that attend there, I cannot believe that no effort has been made to make it bright & airy & welcoming. made me shudder m

I highly recommend Dr Niraj Arora and nurse Mr George Garang! Last year my mental health became very fragile, affecting my work and personal life. I was an in-patient at Cardinal Clinic for 6 weeks.
Both Dr Arora and Mr Garang had a great positive impact, on my recovery, giving me and my husband the much needed hope and support.
I continued to work with Dr Arora as an out-patient. Due to his professional commitment, patience and kindness I managed to go back to my normal self and to get back the control over my life. I am able again to enjoy my quality time with friends and family and to be grateful

The Cardinal Clinic has transformed my life in so many ways; I learnt how to be more self-sufficient and okay on my own with regards to my mental health, I learnt assertiveness skills, my medication was adjusted to the right place where it has remained for years and the place itself is such a good place to heal and recover from episodes or life problems from my experience!

My 15 year old daughter was an outpatient at the clinic and I am shocked by the lack of interest and care that they showed. The first psychiatrist that she saw said she was an adolescent psychiatrist which she was not . She did not handle my daughter with care and sensitivity and she refused to do a report which the school requested - in fact there was no feedback to myself and the school and minimal care for my daughter . My daughter then managed to switch to an adolescent psychiatrist but , although more professional , she seemed to show no interest in helping my daughter get better. She did

I submitted the below review and they submitted a seemingly compassionate response requesting I contact the hospital director. When I contacted them as suggested, they stonewalled me for patient confidentiality reasons. My wife made a formal complaint in the end, the hospital apologised in general but Dr Kevin Pankhurst did not respond himself at all. She is now making a good recovery thanks to Priory Woking. It is not an exaggeration to say that taking my wife here almost cost me everything. Here is my original review...
I took my wife here when she was suffering burn out. The Psychiatrist failed

Being treated here and under the care of the excellent doctors and nurses very simply, saved my life. It was the turning point in a new beginning, the discovery of my illnesses and the careful recovery from substance abuse and dealing with my addictions. The staff were INCREDIBLE. The place itself, relaxing and peaceful. 100% recommend this place and will be grateful for my time here till the day I die. X
