Tyneside Golf Club is amongst the oldest clubs in the North East of England, established in 1879 and still widely regarded as among the finest parkland courses in the region. This is a challenging though enjoyable test for players of all abilities. The course is renowned for the quality of its greens and the free draining nature of the land means that it is playable all year round.
Perched high on the 'Falls' of old Ryton village, the course is tucked away in tranquil surroundings and enjoys magnificent views over the River Tyne and the beautiful Tyne valley.

Tyneside is very much one Club, but within the Club there are several sections which members can join to pursue their preferred golfing and social interests. Tyneside has developed a unique pathway to Golf Club Membership from the Academy, Juniors, Intermediate, 5 day and 7 day memberships and within all of that a section to meet all needs.

A fantastic golf course this is one of my favourites with views of the Tyne Valley and challenging par 3s and the iconic coffin hole (13th) . There is also a par 3 course and practice area where you can purchase ranges balls . My son loves the par 3 course . 100% recommend If you haven't played tyneside get yourself a tee time booked

The golf course was in excellent condition for the time of the year. The greens were some of the best I have putted on in several months. The welcome in the pro shop was friendly and efficient. After the golf the service in the clubhouse was first class. The Covid-19 compliance was unobtrusive and well organised. The staff were attentive and… friendly, the service was swift and the food and drinks were very tasty and represented excellent value for money. The welcome in the clubhouse was as enjoyable as I have experienced in many months. Overall Tyneside Golf Club offered a wonderful golfing
