Loughborough CryoSpa is a specialist sports recovery facility that uses a TECO chiller to maintain the water temperature of the ice bath or cryospa at 8.0 degrees Celsius. Ice baths or cryospas, such as this one from CET CryoSpas, are used by top class athletes to help promote recovery from injuries and reduce fatigue.
TECO chillers are used to maintain the correct water temperature for the Penguin Island display at Longleat Safari & Adventure Park in Wiltshire. The Humboldt penguin (Spheniscus humboldti) is also known as the Peruvian penguin, or patranca; it gets. Our TECO commercial chillers are used in a variety of applications, including keeping lobsters at the correct temperature in lobster hatcheries.

In 1975-6 TECO developed a unique oil-free compressor which NASA used in their Space Shuttle programme.

Mark, really knows his stuff probably the best place to go to get your teco chiller serviced he took mine which i got second hand down to pieces and now has it running at probably 10% less efficiency than it was brand new and its 6 years old. not forgetting that he put new o rings and other extras in for free but was able to give me some good advice into the marine hobby.
