We are a family ran aquatics outlet based in the midlands, approximately 10 minutes drive from Leicester city centre. In 2001 we were voted 'TOP AQUATIC RETAILER IN THE UK' and 'TOP AQUATIC RETAILER IN THE ENGLISH MIDLANDS', in 2007 we were also voted 'TOP DISCUS SPECIALISTS' all by readers of the Practical Fishkeeping magazine.

Clearwater Aquatics was established by Yoosaf and Shabir, being Discus specialists, breeders of many rare strains and experts in fishkeeping, with a combined 50 years experience, The natural progression was to open a shop. In 1995, with their love for their hobby, they wanted to take it to the next level and into other areas of fishkeeping, so they decided to open up an Aquatic Outlet.

Have purchased from these guys on eBay in the past and always been happy. Decided to go and see the store in person as they had a specific tank that I wanted to view. When we 1st got to the store I thought I’d made a mistake as it looked tiny, then when we got inside it was like an Aladdins cave, room after room of fish and equipment. The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. We decided to order our tank (on the Sunday) and it was delivered on the Thursday. Amazing service. My new favourite fish store

Located in the food Court, usual snacks and sandwiches with hot and cold drinks, need to ask if the pasties or sausage rolls are warm or hot otherwise could end up with cold one. Few seating outside.

Poor limited range of stock too.
Not very embracing of customers who may have bought/gifted their tank elsewhere.

Excellent I have tried so many places but this one is amazing. You get genuine advice and guidance through your journey. It's been over 15 years since visiting Clearwater and I'm so pleased I popped in! The guys running the shop are so helpful and the shop still feels like they run it with the passion they had 25 years ago. I was wanting to start a colony of cherry shrimp and he gave me a bag full of shrimplets, 15+ for a tenner. Genuinely great shop for the hobby, well worth traveling to for tropical or marine.
