About Us Report

The shop refurbishment is close to complete now with just a few areas remaining. The pond section has had a further expansion and hopefully the new pond plant area will be complete in time for spring. The new hard coral system should be up and running around easter which will add a further 4 tanks of corals mainly for lps and sps.

Tropical Fish Report

Here at Leicester Aquatics we have over 150 tanks dedicated to tropical fish alone with many more tanks for marine fish, pond fish, cold water fish, corals and plants. We are more than confident that we stock the greatest diversity of tropical fish species in Leicester. We have new stock arrive several times weekly and we strive to source as many differnt species as possible.

I was a little lost being new to this kind of thing. No one asked me for help and when I asked I got no real attention. They walked away to do something else. Then came back with another comment. The other person had no real knowledge. I felt like I was worthy to be there! However the place looks small but has a lots on there. I will go else where to get fish now as I need some advice and 5 mins of someone's time and advice.

Wonderful, experience. Staff and owner are very friendly, full of advise and knowledge regarding ponds, aquariums,
all types of fish(cold water),plants, ornaments,
etc. They are very good at recommending, aquarium technicians and will try and help u out, anyway they can.
My local, aquarium shop, I have been going there for all my requirements for my aquariums, for the last 30 years.
Most recommended.

Good shop, good choice of supplies and great choice of fish. Most staff seem fairly knowledgeable on most things related to the hobby.
Every fish I've had has been clean and disease free, can't ask for anything else. I've had quite a few from them from pond fish to tropical
