Jackie and Steve hope you will find all the information you require to inspire you to join them for a memorable stay in their welcoming 5 star quality guesthouse in St Austell, Cornwall. The Lookout Guesthouse is a bespoke architecturally designed house with spectacular panoramic views over St. Austell Bay.

Having made your way to Exeter take the A30 and continue on through Devon and Cornwall until you reach the exit for St. Austell ( A391). Follow this road passing through the villages of Bugle and Stenalees. Continue on the A391 for a further 5 miles or so where you will drive down the A391 bypass with stunning views of St. Austell Bay.

Local Area Report

The town of St Austell situated on the Cornish Riviera provides ideal access to the best of what Cornwall has to offer. St Austell has in recent years undergone quite a transformation with a modern central shopping area offering a new multi-plex cinema. The area boasts restaurants to serve most tastes.

Guest Rooms Report

Indulge yourself in our luxury, contemporary apartment style suite. The suite offers our guests a chance to relax and unwind during their stay with us. The lounge area oozes comfort with a large sofa, coffee table and a wall mounted 32 Sony TV and DVD player. The suite has direct access to the garden patio complete with alfresco furniture.

Breakfast Report

Breakfast is served in our unique octagonal Breakfast Room or during the summer months on our decking overlooking St. Austell Bay. Begin your day with a choice of fruit juices, cereals, muesli, fruit compote and yoghurt whilst you await your freshly cooked English Breakfast. Alternatively, you can always try one of our specials, for example; scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, or poached eggs on a toasted muffin.

A really wonderful guest house. Jackie and Steve are superb hosts. We could not think of anything we would want to change. I can't recommend the Lookout more highly.

We stayed in The Sea room during the Easter holidays. The room and the house were pristine clean. The views from the room and breakfast room were amazing. Jackie & Steve are amazing hosts always there to give you the best advice. I will definitely choose The Lookout Guesthouse when going back to Cornwall.

Excellent Guesthouse. Had a wonderful weekend here. The owners, Jackie and Steve great hosts and made us feel really at home as soon as we got there. Rooms are 5* and the breakfasts are great. If you are coeliac then this is the place to stay. Best b&b we have ever stayed at. We will be returning.

We stayed in the Sea room which was very nice, clean, and comfortable with a lovely view.
We had a very good choice of breakfasts with dietary needs catered for and all cooked superbly.
The owners were very welcoming and helpful with nothing being too much trouble to make our stay even more special.
We would definitely recommend the Lookout Guest House...

Fantastic Coeliac Friendly B&B!!!!
My friend and I decided to get away for a couple of days and we're so glad we decided to stat at The Lookout Guesthouse just outside the town of St Austell. I always find going away difficult having to stick to a Gluten Free diet. It was wonderful to find a guesthouse that can cater for my needs. Jackie and Steve were very welcoming and as Jackie also requires a Gluten Free diet, she was very knowledgeable which made me feel very much at ease.
Both my friend and I came away feeling very relaxed. We stayed in The Cove room which had very comfortable twin beds
