Nestled in the heart of Cornwall in the charming village of Ladock near Truro lies Bissick Old Mill, a small, luxury guesthouse. Dating from the 17th century, Bissick Old Mill remained a working corn mill right up until the late 1960's and has since been sympathetically renovated to maintain its character and charm whilst also providing all modern comforts.

Situated just five minutes away from the A30 means that you can reach most parts of Cornwall within the hour. The picturesque Roseland Peninsula is just on our doorstep, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project are within a half hours reach and we are equidistant to the north and south coast beaches.

A wonderful place! We had four lovely nights here, and everything was perfect. The room was cosy and welcoming (and super clean), and we were made very welcome by Paddy and his excellent cooking. The location is great for exploring every part of Cornwall, yet very peaceful and tucked away. Couldn't recommend more highly and I hope we'll be back again soon!

What can I say about this place? Me and my wife really enjoyed our stay. Amazing staff - husband and wife duo. Very polite, accommodating and great levels of communication from the booking process and right through to check out. Rooms are clean, tidy and have all the necessities you may require. Car parking in abundance in their private car park, which was of great convenience. My favourite part was the breakfast, with the duo pulling off some stunning meals that look and taste amazing. Omelettes, scrambled and poached eggs cooked to perfection too. You cannot go wrong with this place. Highly recommended

Lovely place to stay with friendly staff. Had such comfortable beds we didn't want to get out of them. Would stay again and would definitely recommend! We were expecting just 2 bedrooms but we got those and 2 bathrooms and a sitting room! All very clean too. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and filled us up ready for the day ahead.
