Cowdrys is a wholesale bakery, meaning we produce and deliver bread, cakes and morning goods to the trade, direct from the ovens at our bakery near Wimborne, Dorset. We bake and deliver daily, making sure our customers have the fresh baked goods they need every day. Only top quality ingredients are used, to ensure we deliver top quality products to our customers.
Cowdrys bakery has always been a family affair. It was founded and run by the Cowdrys family at 36, West Borough, Wimborne, Dorset until 1967, when the elderly members of the family decided to retire, and asked experienced baker Dennis Glenister to become Managing Director. After the Glenister family purchased the business in 1974, the bakery continued to grow and Dennis' son, Keith took over the role as Managing Director in 1983.
