Here at Wingerworth Medical Centre we continually strive to provide the highest standard of healthcare. Our multidisciplinary team are caring and responsive to patients' needs regardless of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation or religion.

These are available at reception. Once you have been accepted as a patient, your medical records will be transferred to the practice. Your medical records may take several weeks to arrive at the practice. We advise all our new patients to make a routine health check with our Health Care Assistant within the first three months of joining our practice.
Increasingly, patient medical data is shared e.g. between GP surgeries and District Nursing, in order to give clinicians access to the most up to date information when attending patients. The systems we operate require that any sharing of medical information is consented to by patients beforehand.

Iā€™m very impressed with this Medical Centre. Here the staff are very friendly and helpful and even though they are very busy with the Retinopathy examinations. They were prompt and took their time explaining the procedures. Thank You to all the staff. Because it made it a lot easier and it felt a safe environment during the current Covid-19 pandemic

Having just moved to the Chesterfield area, from Sutton-in-Ashfield, I was worried about how easy it would be, to re-register at a new GP's practice. Even though it is a different health area, my husband and I, found the process surprisingly simple. The receptionists were so friendly and helpful to us, whilst we filled in 'new patient' paperwork. Plus, I was able to get straight in, with an appointment, to actually see Dr Nathan. A first actual face-to-face appointment, in the last 20 months! Wonderful....

The service I have received over the past week has been fantastic from the young male receptionist, the 2 nurses and the Dr. To say the pressure they are currently working under, nothing has been too much trouble. I would certainly recommend this practice to anyone. You should be very proud of your team Dr Sid šŸ™‚
