The Woodgate Valley Health Centre has its origins in a modest health centre which was opened in 1972. This stood where our current car park is, and was demolished to make way for our new practice building. It offers us more consulting rooms, more clinical areas, better accommodation for our health visitors and midwives, more administration space and enhanced facilities for teaching.
Since the introduction of the new General Medical Services contract for practices, the practice provides core services as well as a range of direct and national enhanced services for patients. Woodgate Valley is a member practie of Our Health Partnership. Empower patients' to manage their own care and make informed decisions about the care services they access.

Services
Information about you and the care you receive is shared, in a secure system, by healthcare staff to support your treatment and care. It is important that the NHS can use this information to plan and improve services for all patients. The NHS would like to link information from all the different places where you receive care, such as your GP, hospital and community services, to help provide a full picture.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you change your address, telephone number or name. It is important that we have up to date details in case we need to contact you. Please tell us what changes you have made to your personal details. For a change of name via marriage or deed poll, please provide us with a copy of the appropriate document.
We have a patient representation group so that you can have your say. We ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time, such as what you think about our opening times or the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn't take too much of your time.
Please ensure you ll out their details in section A and your details in section B. I do not want my information to be shared. I am aware that NHS healthcare staff caring for me may not be aware of my current medications, allergies I suffer from and any bad reactions to medicines that I have had, in order to treat me safely in an emergency.
I do not want my information to be shared via Your Care Connected. I understand that this may mean important information will not be available to those treating me when making decisions about my treatment in potentially urgent and life-threatening situations. I understand that by opting out of Your Care Connected I will also opt out of any other local sharing initiatives by default.

I have been a patient here for over 25 years .I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. The doctors are very caring .I was sorry Dr Ward had retired he was a very nice man and didn’t suffer fools gladly.I was sorry to see some bad reviews,as with all practices doctors are overworked so often have to wait to be seen. I am grateful to the NHS that I have reached 88 yrs with their care.
Thank You.Woodgate Valley doctors.

The worst practice you will ever attend, they will make mis diagnosis you, ignore any problems you go with causing further damages to peoples health. They ignored my mothers back pain and told her it was her age and to exercise without checking her back, she had a shattered disc and exercising caused further damaged to her disc and nerves, only on paying for a chiropractor was we able to get her fast paced for the operation she needed. The doctors are rude and unprofessional with no bed side manor and the receptionist are just as bad.

I would like to congratulate all the staff and volunteers working on the Covid 19 injection roll out. My husband and myself had out injections on Tuesday.
The whole procedure from walking upto the front door was so well organised, There was no queues just a at flow. All we explained and we felt very safe.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK.

I could literally cry whilst writing this review. I never thought I could feel so aggrieved following a phone conversation with two of the receptionist. LYNN & MONICA. Being a healthcare practitioner myself I cannot understand how you both can talk to a human being in such scornful, disdainful, judgemental way! I wish I could see you both in person and tutor you in interpersonal skills. Everyones stressed and under pressure I get it!. The NHS is doing its absolutely best and we are all trying to be upright representatives. One of you as well turned my poor aged mother back home only because she

The receptionist's think they run the practice and have attitude! Simply asked for a call back from a doctor and was immediately told NO without even knowing what it was for! Terrible customer service on the phone. I suggest you listen to a call i made at 8.30am this morning (11/12/19) and train your staff how to give good customer service on the phone! I extremely rarely use the doctors and this is why!

I am quite sure this dr prefer asian patients, as I had an appointment and she called me in after almost an hour waiting.I was there with my two impatient kids, I can understand that is in late for 15 minutes or even half an hour, but that was way too long and I'm certain she called at least two other patients that were arrived after me, it was just then when I figured out about that, because I went to reception desk for the second time to ask about what time from she is consulting the patients at that moment and the lady from the desk told me is just in late, or you saw other patients after you
