The Mote Medical practice is a five doctor, 9,800 patient practice in the south of Maidstone providing General Medical Services from its premises at St Saviours Road. We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

This decision was made to enable practices to work safely, reduce the chances of infection and to triage all calls coming into the practice. As yet we have no update on when we should switch this option back on. We want to help you get the right medical assistance when you're ill, injured or have a long term condition.
Services
You will appreciate that health data relating to any individual is highly confidential and the Practice must ensure that it releases such data only to the person to whom it relates, or to a person authorised to act on his or her behalf. The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) gives you the statutory right of access to any information, manual (paper) or computerised.
We welcome your comments on things we are doing well within the practice and also welcome your suggestions on things we can improve. If you would like to make a suggestion or provide us with any feedback. Your feedback is extremely important to us as it helps us to see what we are doing well at and areas for improvement.
The NHS want you to have the best possible experience of care. The NHS Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback, so we can continually review and improve our service to you. Your feedback will help us learn more about what you think of your experience - what you like and what you think we could improve.
If you've encountered healthcare recently, either as a patient yourself or as a carer or friend of another patient, we would like to hear about your experience. Your story will be handled confidentially by the non-profit service, Patient Opinion, and may appear (without your name) on their website.
We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive the Practice and our staff. We discuss the running of the surgery, the services it provides and we also created this year's patient survey. The government is encouraging general practices to establish Patient Reference Groups (PRGs) to help practices decide priorities to focus on to improve patient care.

Abysmal communication. Was held in a queue on the phone for 2.5 hours, and was first for nearly an hour after which i gave up. The doctor texted to say they were coming to give my 89yr mum a flu and covid booster jab in the morning, but never turned up, and no call or anything.

Terrible service! Receptionist refused to tell me her name, was absolutely not helpful saying she would speak to her colleagues. People get paid for doing some practical stuff, not only for speaking. After speaking on the phone five times these people could not even send a confirmation email. How hard is that? Very disappointed, I haven’t expected to see so many unresponsive medical professionals, not sure if they belong there.

Unfortunately, this surgery is continuing to go downhill despite a new phone and booking system. The staff are pleasant enough and I cannot fault this side of the surgery but it is still impossible to see a doctor, everything is over the phone, their 'same day' appointments are unreliable, I was expecting a call yesterday and was told this was the case but on ringing today I was scheduled for 11ish today. Well that times been and gone and still no call. I called back to be told I won't be called until tomorrow, 3 days wait for a same day appointment!! What's worse is my issue is ongoing, never

The reception services at this surgery are pathetic and inhuman. I called the surgery after NHS 111 asked me to contact GP to seek medical attention for 6 month old baby. NHS 111 instructed me to inform the the reception that NHS 111 has done the initial assessment and has advised to seek medical attention in the next 12 hours. When i informed the receptionist about it, she replied - " THAT IS TOO SOON TO CONTACT GP"

There was a wait on the phones, but reception was lovely and bubbly. I have Dr Eason, so down to earth, easy to talk to. Considered everything I had to say and was straight to the point with the options available to me. Happy with my care.

Got through on the phone straight away. Really pleasant, helpful receptionist. The reception window is great, so nice to be able to actually speak with someone face to face despite covid.

Wish I could give them 0 stars!! Rang them yesterday as I received a letter in the post saying doctor needed to discuss results with me and I needed to make a telephone appointment. Was told no more slots were available and to ring back today at 8:30. Well, I rang 270 times and finally got through at 12:30! Phone was constantly engaged before that. And when I got through, I got told that all the slots were taken and once I again I need to ring back tomorrow at 8:30. I explained that I am 33 weeks pregnant and that the results obviously have to do with my pregnancy, and that I had been ringing for
