If you a new cough, temperature, loss of taste of loss of smell please call us for further advice. DO NOT leave your home. For this reason our current infection control processes must remain in place for the protection of all of our staff and patients. We are asking that you still attend the surgery wearing a facemask and alone where possible and maintain the social distancing measures of 2 meters.
Unfortunately Hempstead Medical Centre is currently not accessible to wheelchair users and we would kindly request that patients needing to be seen make their appointments at the Wigmore branch. In the event that patients are unfit to travel to Wigmore please let a member of staff know and we can assess you for a home visit.

Recently moved to the surgery and we’ve had mixed experiences so far. Really impressed with responsiveness compared to previous surgery and really happy with my 2.5yo flu vaccine. However my 3mo injections weren’t handled so well and left my wife upset with, what she felt, was a lack of concern for our baby

I feel sorry for people having to use this doctors surgery, and the people working there. If you are looking to join this surgery, I would advise against it especially if you have symptoms of something and you don't know what it is. Because the main old male doctor will just tell you to loose weight or something, when it could be serious! The other staff are fine.

Very disappointed with care from this practice. It’s virtually impossible to make appointments to see or even talk to your GP.
Having developed some warning signs of type 2 diabetes I contacted the practice to discuss getting some tests. The first blood test was done, and on discussing results I asked about any signs of diabetes as it wasn’t mentioned. The wrong blood tests were ordered so it all had to be repeated. The results of the second blood test arrived at the practice and I called to make an appointment to discuss results. I was given a date 3-4 weeks away and told this is the earliest

Terrible Surgery - good luck trying to get an appointment you have to ring on the day . The phone line is normally jammed with calls. Called 4 times this morning, finally got through after a good 20 mins of trying to be told no appointments available.
Shouldn't feel like you are trying to get tickets to see a sold out concert just to see your own docter.
This is not the first time its happened either . I will be moving docters

I really don't think that this practice is actually worthy of one star. For the second time in 12 months I went to the doctors on a scheduled appointment to get a medical form completed. On both occasions either the office staff had not provided the form to the doctor or the doctor had lost or misplaced it. Absolutely rubbish
