Thank you to everyone who supported the beer / cider festival in August. We are happy to announce that we raised 432.50 for Wendy's Charity Fundraising from the profits of the BBQ and raffle. Thanks again to everyone that donated to this wonderful cause. A big welcome from Cath, Andy and the Team at the Royal Oak in Cromhall, South Gloucestershire.

Our traditional country pub offers cask real ales, traditional locally made cider from Wild Cider Company and lagers and well-stocked coolers with assorted drinks. Freshly ground coffee is available, as are assorted teas. Our kitchen serves lunchtime and evening menus. We also have weekly Meal Deals.

What's On Report

BT and Sky Sports are available to watch in our sports room where we also have a pool table and dart board. See our Facebook page for TV games. Pool is free to play on Monday and Tuesday evenings. If you are having a party or celebration, we'd like to offer our pub, The Royal Oak, as a venue, whether it be landmark birthday celebrations or a simple social gathering we can cater for all types.

Real Ales Report

We are passionate about the quality of our real ales and ciders and, as well as ones from further afield, we offer a varying selection of locally brewed ones. If you have a favourite real ale or real cider from Gloucestershire and would like to see it served at the bar please ask to see if we can get it here for you.

Lovely pub, went for a meal just before Christmas a pub we had booked was closed. We were found a table and served quickly. Good food, good beer 🍺 👍

I have been to the Royal Oak yet few times and I can say that, this place is a MUST VISIT. Worm and cozy with the lovely owners being around to make sure you get a lovely experience.
What I loved the most there is the steak. So soft and always well cooked.
Totally recommend and will sure go back.

We just had a wonderful Sunday dinner hear, it’s a lovely cosy pub very welcoming and friendly people and the food is excellent and very reasonably priced, will definitely be making it a regular.

Staff was very helpful including noticing we were struggling to find a parking spot so came to help. Food came out quickly and was very nice. Nice place to sit and have a drink after too with a nice view.

Great dog friendly pub, even when your dog is 'too friendly'! Lots of walks around Cromhall so great to use The Royal Oak as your base.

Chosen at random while on a short break on the area and boy were we impressed! Friendly and efficient service. A good menu amazingly well cooked and presented. We often have the sea bass dish, but this surpassed previous experience. The deserts were also utterly delicious. Our only disappointment is that we live too far away to make this our local. Sincere compliments to the chef.

Had a meal last night with my family and two children, food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do enough for you! Even the children were enjoying themselves and didn’t get bored, amazing staff and food - Definitely coming back!

We have just eaten here and the welcome, the service and the food were absolutely fantastic. My wife and I both had steak and they were cooked to perfection. Also, the starter of garlic mushrooms was beautifully cooked.
Both dishes were massive.
Big thanks to the chef and the lovely people that have looked after us this evening
