Lovely little pub, v nice vibe and good curry but the main attraction is definitely the real ale. The landlord deserves some sort of award or recognition for keeping it so well. Every pint I've ever had in there is perfectly fresh and clear, like some ambrosial nectar of the gods. This is what beer tastes like in heaven, I'm sure. If you're passing, worth stopping off just to have a taste!

Amazing little spot in Avening. One of just a couple options around if youβre without a car but definitely worth a visit. The Curries were some of the best Iβve had and the bar staff as well as the locals were quite friendly. We came to watch the England/Scotland Euro match and they just scooted over to make space for us. Oddly enough one of the cleanest and overall nicest ladies toilets! π½
