We do not usually resolve problems by drawing on our deficits. Instead we can use Solution Focused Hypnotherapy to help you to focus on the positive aspects of here and now. We want to enable thinking using the intellectual part of our brain because this is where we generally feel good about things and not the primitive part; which is where our emotions/fears originate from.

In a relaxed environment we will begin the initial consultation which consists of me asking some questions about you i.e What do you do for a living and what your hobbies are? This is the start of helping me to understand you so I can tailor the therapy to your needs and requirements. This consultation is a source of gathering information from me and you and ensuring that we will be able to work together to achieve any objectives.
Mindful Solutions Hypnotherapy can now offer a mindfulness workshop for anxiety and depression. Over a four week period you will be taught a better understanding of how mindfulness can help you manage the symptoms of depression and anxiety. These symptoms are different for everyone and this is one of the reasons why mindfulness is a skill worth learning.
Humans have many expectations - that of suffering should not exist or being resistant to change, I should be better than this or I'm not as good as that person there. Our expectations can even prevent us from experiencing grief or loss, happiness or joy, love or confidence.
Our thoughts can become quite dominant and become the centre of our attention instead of the object or situation and much if not all of our mindfulness concepts become lost in the constant chatter of the mind.We get 'caught up in thinking' rather than feeling and can become swept away with thoughts that bare little evidence to their validity or truth and yet, we believe them.

I contacted Lisa for my teen daughter who had been suffering with anxiety for sometime. Our initial consultation with Lisa immediately put both of us at ease, she was friendly and very informative. My daughter found the sessions calming and relaxing and we can see the result of these sessions as we have a much more happy and confident daughter.

I have always had a phobia when it comes to needles, mainly the build up and anxiety around them, so after having another melt down around my first COVOD jab I decided to seek some help. Lisa has been great and very patient, she was easy to talk to and completely understood me. I had a few sessions over a few weeks and today I went to get my second jab and was great. For the first time ever! I didn’t cry, feel sick and have a panic attack when having a jab. I never thought that would ever happen and was so skeptical about having therapy but it worked and I’m so happy it did! So thank you Lisa

I always left feeling like I’d had a long weekend not just a half-hour in a meditative state. I cannot recommend Lisa highly enough, she truly was everything you’d want in a hypnotherapist; sweet, kind, calming and purposeful. She started with a lovely cuppa and a chat, and then got to the meditation. Within just a few sessions I felt materially better. Five stars for sure!

Lisa is an amazing therapist. The difference she has made to me is huge. I've been very impressed how she tailors each session to the current situation and to me as an individual, while still moving forwards with longer term issues. I have had my fourth session with Lisa today at Mindful Solutions and she is absolutely amazing! She has helped me with my spider phobia, stress and is now helping me through the grief of losing my Dad earlier this year. She is professional, kind, empathetic and is very in tune with how to help you. We all need help to get through difficult things in life and having tried a couple of other people, I have finally found Lisa and she is FANTASTIC!!!! xxxxxxx
