LettingsBU was established in 2008 by Bournemouth University to meet the increased demand and higher expectations from our students for quality private sector student housing. We also recognised that landlords wanted a safe and secure way of letting their properties direct to our students.
Since our inception we have developed our services and built-up an excellent reputation and are now able to offer a broad and varied portfolio of student houses in and around Bournemouth including the following areas: Winton, Charminster, Ensbury Park, Wallisdown, Lansdowne, Bournemouth Town Centre, Boscombe, Talbot Village & Moordown.

We have a wide range of properties available for you to rent. Prices quoted are for the full property per week but we will allow for individuals to rent separate rooms. Our property lists are updated directly from our office software and new properties become available daily, so if you cannot see a suitable property now, please contact us and we will be in touch with you as soon as we have a property that fits your needs.

As a lettings company they are very helpful. However when arranging things like viewings and visits they are unbelievably unprofessional. They emailed one of the people living here (despite us all deliberately refusing to choose a lead tenant, they picked one at random) to say that there would be a viewing, a mere 5 hours before it happened. They then said to email if there were any problems, which I did, because we were not prepared for a viewing at that time. They came anyway. This happened 3 more times before eventually I was in the property and managed to explain to the representative that

BU lettings are one of the slightly less worse deals out there, with mid-range fees and almost-decent housing for uni students, however BU lettings are perhaps the least professional lettings agency I have ever come across when it comes to communicating with their customers and tenants. It's almost as if they got their work experience kid to handle communications with customers!
When signing up for my first contract I provided them my phone number, email address, and address so they have three ways to contact me. Instead of using any of those they contacted the entire house through WhatsApp. I
