The House Academy has over twenty five years of experience in managing student lettings. We invest a lot of time and effort in making sure that all our houses offer high quality, fully-furnished, contemporary accommodation. We employ full-time maintenance staff to ensure that our high standards are preserved.
The House Academy flats and houses are in popular student areas and ideal locations for Southampton University, Solent University and local amenities. All our properties are well equipped, and most are recently refurbished. Bedrooms are furnished with a double bed, bedside table, desk & chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bookcase, and the majority have a wash basin and internet points.
Students living in this area have only a short walk to Highfield and Avenue campuses. We have accommodation in Highfield that can provide for groups varying in size from 3 up to 8 students. This is a popular area for students to live, due to its proximity to many shops, bars and restaurants and yet it is still only a 15 minute walk or short bike ride up to Highfield and Avenue campuses.
Many of The House Academy tenants have no previous experience in renting a property. We are here to help you in making this important decision by providing you with information, and sharing our wealth of experience with you. We can show you a range of properties to suit all needs. Are these requirements fixed, or can you be flexible, as greater flexibility will give you greater choice.
The House Academy always allows a few days between tenancies to inspect each house, check they are fully clean and carry out any repairs & maintenance needed. A property is reserved when you sign the tenancy agreement and pay the first month's rent. We will usually meet you at your Halls of Residence or at your present rented house in Southampton.
